How to do it Download the templates/recipes
Prime first with white paint so that the transparent colours will shine through clearly. Allow to dry.
Pour out mother-of-pearl paint in two different colours that work well together.
Dab both colours on one part of the egg with a foam brush so that the colours can work their way into each other. Allow to dry.
Dab one colour of mother-of-pearl paint on the bottom of the egg. Allow to dry.
Take a couple of down feathers and cut off the stiff part at the bottom. Place them on the egg with the two colours wherever you like.
Attach the down feathers to the egg by placing a band of glitter masking tape all the way around the egg.
If you wish, you can stick a piece of thin metallic masking tape all the way around the egg in the centre of the glitter tape.
Cut 5 small circles of tissue paper with a diameter of about 7–8 cm.
Gather the circles in the middle to form a small rosette.
Glue 4–5 rosettes on top of the masking tape using a glue gun.
If you wish, you can use the bottom of a paint pot as a template for the tissue paper circles.
