Tea towels cut into squares and sewn together to make a blanket. It has been decorated with pompon ribbon and mother-of-pearl buttons. The back of the blanket is a fleece blanket.

How to do it
Guide step 1
1.
Cut 31 squares and 18 triangles measuring 23 x 23cm and cut 9 squares in half, making 18 triangles which is equivalent to 5 x 2 tea towels.

Arrange all the squares and triangles in rows and assemble with pins.

First together in rows and sew the rows together to make a blanket. Wash and iron the blanket in order to make it shrink.

Cut the edges off the fleece blanket. Sew this together with the patchwork blanket, outer side against outer side. Leave an opening of 20cm to turn the blanket inside out.

Turn and press the patchwork piece using an iron.

Sew on pom-pom ribbon.

Sew buttons through both layers in a random pattern.
