A Papier-Mâché Angel with Decoupage and Rhinestones

A papier-mâché angel is primed with white Plus colour craft paint. When dry, it is covered all over with decoupage paper and decorated with rhinestones, applied to the last coat of decoupage lacquer.

How to do it
1. Paint the angel with white Plus Color craft paint. Leave to dry.
2. Use the angel as a template. Draw the outline of the angel twice onto a piece of decoupage paper and cut out. Cut strips of decoupage paper to cover the angel's sides/edges.
3. Apply a coat of decoupage lacquer all over the angel.
4. Cover the angel with decoupage paper. Apply another coat of decoupage lacquer on top all over. Attach rhinestones to the wet lacquer according to your taste.
5. Use the angel standing up or for hanging; make a hole at the top with a pair of scissors. Tie a piece of paper string onto a small piece of wood (a match cut in half). Push the stick into the hole. The stick acts as a hook.
