A Needle Felted Chick with Metal Feet and Funny Eyes

Each chick is made from carded wool, needle felted onto a polystyrene ball. Metal feet are then inserted into the ball. The beak is made from orange felt, needle felted onto the chick. The eyes are pushed into the ball.

How to do it
1. Place the carded wool onto the polystyrene ball and attach it securely by pushing a felting needle up and down. Leave some of the wool unfelted as the chick's hair or tail.
2. Cut a beak from orange felt and felt it onto the chick using a felting needle.
3. Attach the eyes and the legs by pushing these directly into the felted polystyrene ball.
