A Macramé Necklace with Cones and Beads

This macramé necklace is made from lightly waxed soft cotton cord linked with beads in between. The pendant is made from a silver cone and a glass faceted teardrop shaped bead on a ball head pin.

How to do it
1. Cut one piece of thin lightly waxed cotton cord measuring approx. 6m and one piece measuring approx 0.85m. Start as shown, making a double loop for a bead.
2. Braid approx. 70cm, attaching a bead for every braided 3.5 to 4cm. Double the spacing in the middle of the necklace.
3. Finish the necklace by attaching the last bead and tying a knot with all the cords.
4. Make a pendant from a silver cone and glass faceted teardrop shaped bead on a ball head pin.
5. Attach the pendant onto the necklace with an oval jump ring.
