One half of each egg is painted with pastel coloured Art Aqua watercolour paint mixed with A-color Allround medium glue lacquer. The paint is painted over Color Blocker dots. The other half of each egg is decorated with Copper Imitation Metal Leaf.

Guide step 1
1.
Make dots using a foam stencil brush and Color Blocker on one half of the egg. Let it dry for approx. one hour.
Guide step 2
2.
Mix A-color allround medium glue lacquer and Art Aqua watercolour paint in the ratio 1 to 1.
Guide step 3
3.
Apply the mixture onto the egg with a brush. Try to avoid the actual dots. Paint the entire egg. Wipe/dab off the excess paint with a piece of kitchen roll.
Guide step 4
4.
When the paint is dry, remove the Color Blocker dots. Gently rub with a piece of kitchen roll, dipped in warm water.
Guide step 5
5.
Attach a piece of masking tape all the way around the top and the bottom of the egg on the side with the dots.
Guide step 6
6.
Apply a thin coat of Fix Glue onto the half of the egg without the dots. NB: wash the brush immediately afterwards with soap and water.
Guide step 7
7.
Put Copper Imitation Metal Leaf all over the side of the egg with the Fix Glue. Smooth out the surface using a soft, dry brush. At the end, brush off the excess Imitation Metal Leaf.
Guide step 8
8.
Remove the masking tape.
