12198 An Invitation for a Girl’s Party

How sweet it is …

The invitation and the table decoration are made from card and beads. The little hanger is made from silver-plated wire and compliments the small dress perfectly.

1.

Cut out the dress, the collar and the petticoat from the template in matching colours.

2.

Assemble the parts with double-sided adhesive tape and 3D foam pads.

3.

Attach a ribbon around the waist of the dress and fasten it on the back. For the bow, cut a piece of ribbon measuring approx. 20cm, tie the bow and attach it to the belt with a 3D foam pad. Trim the ends. Decorate the small collar with self-adhesive rhinestone half-pearls.

4.

Cut a piece of silver-plated wire for the hanger. Double over the wire and twist a couple of times to form the shape. Bend the ends to form a small loop.

5.

Attach the hanger onto the card. Attach 3D foam pads and attach the hanger with another two 3D foam pads.

6.

Attach the dress to the hanger with 3D foam pads. Use two 3D foam pads on top of each other to achieve the same height as the hanger.

7.

Make a small border and attach it to the card with double-sided adhesive tape.

8.

Cut a piece of wire measuring 20cm for the bead coil. Thread beads onto the wire and twist the wire around a darning needle.

9.

Push a hole through the card and attach the bead coil.

10.

Cut a piece of paper. Attach the paper over the wire ends on the back with double-sided adhesive tape.

11.

Place Cards:

Cut a piece of silver-plated wire measuring 25cm. Twist to form a small loop at the end. Pull seven red and seventy orange beads onto the wire.

12.

Bend the flower head around the silver-plated wire.

13.

Form the petals and close the flower.

14.

Thread a bead onto the end of the silver-plated wire.

15.

Cut a new piece of silver-plated wire and twist it around the stalk.

16.

Form the leaves.

17.

Twist the wire around the leaves.

18.

Thread a bead onto the end of the wire and bend to form a coil.

19.

Bend to form a hook for hanging onto the glass.

20.

Cut a piece of card for the place card which is attached onto the flower stalk with double-sided adhesive tape.

A place card.

22.

A Napkin Ring:

Make a flower following the same procedure as for the place card. Feed a 30cm long piece of wire through the middle of the flower, double over and twist.

23.

Bend the wire to a suitable size. Feed the wire through the middle of the flower.

24.

Twist the wire around the ring.

25.

The finished napkin ring.
