Our growth, vision and values

Our dream to create a unique company and workplace became a reality in September 2000 when Creativ Company was established.

Our vision was to create an inspiring workplace with a warm and family atmosphere and to develop original ideas and dreams where work was far more than simply a livelihood. Our ambition was to be best in many ways – employee benefits, environmental protection and to create a viable and successful business.

Our headquarters occupies 6500 square metres of prime light industrial land and our current employee count totals 130. In addition we have a fully owned purchasing department in China and this operation ensures every Creativ product is delivered with total quality assurance every time. This department also monitors strict environmental disciplines on all our Asian suppliers.

Products and ideas

Our passion is simple – Creativ Company will create and design products to deliver FUN and JOY to all crafters and hobbyists worldwide.

Our objective is also simple – Creativ Company will constantly innovate and identify new products and suppliers and continue to lead and inspire our wonderful industry.

Social responsibility

An important part of the Creativ Company culture is to maintain and develop the highest possible level of social responsibilities. This means we take an active interest to help and develop all our employees and in fact almost 15% of our staff have “learning difficulties”. Creativ Company has received a number of awards for this valuable work.

Achievements

In Europe
Creativ company was awarded the 6th place in the Best Workplace Survey (conducted by the Great Place to Work Institue) – 285000 employees in 1350 workplaces in 16 European countries.

In November 2008 we received the Network Award for Social Responsibility, which is awarded annually to
companies that exhibit extraordinary initiative in retention and integration of employees.

In March 2009 Creativ company was awarded the MIA-Award (Diversity in the workplace) from The Institute for Human Rights for “the company’s efforts to promote joy of working in the workplace”.
