A Shopping Bag decorated with knitted Tube Roses

Decorate a shopping bag with roses made from knitted tube, knitted on a knitting mill using baby merino wool. The knitted tube is then sewn together to form a flower.

Knit approx. 50 cm knitted tube using a knitting mill and baby merino wool for the small rose. Knit approx. 100 cm knitted tube for the large rose.

Double over the knitted tube in the middle and tie a knot. Twist the ends and pick up the eight stitches as shown in the picture.

Sew the ends together and secure. Trim the excess wool.

Sew the flower together using the same wool as the one used for the knitted tube.

Knit approx. 25 cm knitted tube for two leaves for the small rose using the knitting mill. Pick up the stitches at both ends and sew together as shown in the picture. Do not trim the excess wool yet.
